Privacy

Privacy policy

Plain-language summary. Template notice: this is a starting-point policy, not legal advice. The site owner should review it (and local requirements such as GDPR/CCPA) before launch and fill in the contact details.

What we collect

  • Your email address, only if you submit a signup form. It is used to send the VibeKit Weekly newsletter.
  • Aggregate page-view statistics, only if the site owner enables a privacy-friendly analytics tool in config.js. Such tools are designed to work without cookies and without tracking you across sites.

What we don't do

  • No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking by this site's own code.
  • We don't sell your email address.
  • The project generator runs in your browser; your selections are not sent to a server.

Where your email goes

Signups are sent to the newsletter provider configured by the site owner (for example Buttondown, Beehiiv or Formspree), which stores the address and sends the emails under its own privacy policy. Until a provider is configured, the site runs in demo mode: addresses are saved only in your own browser's local storage and are not transmitted anywhere.

Local storage

The signup forms save a copy of the address in your browser's localStorage (key vibekit.subscribers.v1) so the demo works. You can clear it any time in your browser settings. We don't use cookies.

Sponsors

Sponsors do not receive subscriber email addresses. Sponsored content in the newsletter is clearly labelled.
